Hudson Cybertec joined the WIB, the Process Automation User’s Association. Through this collaboration both parties will benefit from each other’s specific expertise.
Hudson Cybertec is a security solution provider for Industrial Automation and Control Systems, the Operational Technology (OT) of organizations. The company operates worldwide, working at organizations on projects in the area of cyber security. As subject matter expert for cyber security Hudson Cybertec has extensive knowledge and experience in this field. The IEC 62443 Competence Center of Hudson Cybertec has broad experience with this international standard for Industrial Automation & Control Systems Security and actively propagates it internationally, delivering IEC 62443 training worldwide. The IEC 62443 standard was initiated by the ISA and WIB and adopted by the IEC.
WIB brings together companies in the process industry and facilitates exchange of experience and expertise. The Control Systems Workgroup of the WIB witnessed the birth of the reference architecture for process control vendor requirements. From that, part 2.4 “Security program requirements for IACS service providers” of the IEC 62443 standard originated. WIB has members in various European countries, the Middle East, Japan, Africa and North America. The majority of members are large companies and multinationals.

The WIB is the Process Automation Users’ Association that was founded in 1962 by 5 Dutch companies in the process industry. WIB provides process instrumentation evaluation- and assessment services for -and on behalf of- its industrial user member companies. WIB operates in close collaboration with sister association Evaluation International in the UK. A cooperation agreement exists with the NAMUR organization in Germany.
